Hello my loyal followers,
I think mommy and daddy are disappointed in me. Yesterday, they took Midas to the doctor and he was gone ALLL day!! I was very sad cause there was nothing for me to do all by myself. At least daddy was home to keep me company. mommy came home early from work and than they left to pick up midas. Mommy said that Midas had an ab-suss on his head and had to have surgery to take it out. That's what he gets for chewing on chairs though. They don't even taste like liver?! Why would he do that?

So when he came home, he was wearing this funny looking cone. I was very happy to see him and mommy was laughing cause she said when Midas got home he was whining cause he wanted to see me so badly and when Mommy finally put him down, he was so happy he started doing his happy dance. Even his butt was shaking!! I got scared though. I saw the cone on his head and this weird tube sticking out of his neck and I ran away. I thought that if I got too close, I might get contaminated or he'll poke my eyes out with the cone. Mommy was very sad cause I wasn't nice to Midas when he was so happy to see me. But in my defense, that rubber tube sticking out of his neck keeps dripping blood and puss and it's GROSS!! Mommy keeps cleaning it off and Daddy was very sad when he had to wipe down the tube.

Mommy said that since I was so mean to Midas, she would make me wear a cone on my head so i would know what it felt like. She's the meanie!! I couldn't believe it! HOW RUDE!!

Anyways, they think that I'm staying away from Mids cause I'm scared. I'm not scared anymore. I just don't want to hurt him. But I have to admit. He's tough. He hasn't complained at all and he always takes his medicine without complaining. He doesn't know yet that the more you complain, the better the treats are afterwards!! Oh well.

Daddy says they're taking him back to the vet on Monday to take the drain out. So no bitey-face until than.
