Mommy and Daddy were very disappointed in me and Midas last night. We had guests and they brought over another puppy named Gus. He's a lab and 10 weeks old. Momma says he's really cute but when me and Midas saw him in our house we got mad cause it's our house so we barked at him and I tried to take a nip at him. Daddy pulled me back and held me down but I was so worked up I kept making these funny noises. Midas was going crazy too. Momma said she couldn't understand what was wrong with me. She said I had never been agg-gressive before and that I wasn't like that with Gizmo or Sophia or Rex. Daddy suggested we go outside where it's noo-tral. When we were outside, the big people let us get closer and we did a lot of sniffing (except Midas--he's gay so he likes to lick). I wanted to do my usual sir hump-a-lot routine but momma kept pulling me off. Than another small dog came by and I wanted to play with him. Midas kept barking and barking. He thinks just cause he has the cone he's all tough now. huh. He's all bark.
Daddy had to 'work' so Momma brought us upstairs and we had to stay in the bedroom the whole night. But it was okay cause everytime Momma came in, she brought us good treats!! I told her to give some of my treats, chews and toys to Gus cause I felt bad. I was a meanie.
I'M SORRY GUS.
I promise I'll behave next time and Midas won't bark at you anymore.
